The youths of Nkpor in Ifemili North Council Area of Anambra State have barricaded the new tire axis of Enugu Okitsha expressway in protest of an alleged killing of a 20- year-old boy by the Nigerian Police.
An eyewitness who spoke to reporters said that the people tried to enquire while the police were arresting innocent people in disguise of enforcing the sit-at-home order of the state government.
The State Commissioner of Police, John Abang, who confirmed the incident to journalists, said that his men were first attacked and then opened fire in defense.
The Police Commissioner, however, assured that investigations are ongoing to further reveal the true stories of what transpired.
